Addendum No. 2 to Lake County Schools' Grease Interceptors and Wastewater Treatment Services ITB

This document is Addendum No. 2 issued by the School Board of Lake County, Florida's Procurement Services department for Invitation to Bid 26-0129-ITB-KF949 regarding Grease Interceptors, Septic Tank, and Wastewater Treatment Plant Services. The addendum, issued February 9, 2026, addresses bidder questions and clarifies specifications for pump-out and maintenance services across the district's 123 grease interceptors and eight wastewater treatment plant facilities. The addendum provides revised answers to vendor inquiries regarding residual waste classification and disposal requirements, specifically clarifying that residuals from on-site treatment facilities are classified as wastewater on district records and that no special handling or treatment requirements exist beyond standard industry practices and vendor compliance obligations. All original ITB documents remain in full force and effect except as modified by this addendum, which takes precedence over prior provisions. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the designated Proposal Acknowledgement Form, with acknowledgment becoming an integral part of the solicitation documents.

The addendum maintains all previously issued bid terms, conditions, and specifications without modification beyond the clarification regarding wastewater residual classification and disposal requirements. Contact information for procurement inquiries is provided through Kelly Fortune, Buyer II, at fortunek@lake.k12.fl.us or (352) 253-6764. Questions regarding the original solicitation closed February 5, 2026, with sealed bids due February 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST via www.myvendorlink.com. The initial contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewal periods, and pricing must remain firm throughout the initial three-year term.
