About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 3 for Questions and Answers related to the SWOCC Career Technical Education / Diesel Technology Building Project, solicitation number S-P00675-00014580, issued by Pinnacle Engineering, Inc. on August 22, 2025. The project involves constructing a new diesel technology building with two project phases: Phase 1 covering site work and Phase 2 covering the Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) construction. The project includes specifications for a 5-ton overhead crane, motor-operated garage doors, and structural considerations for a building with restroom and hall areas.

Key project details include design-build requirements for MEP plans, an unconditioned space with radiant heating, and specific infrastructure elements such as two 6-inch diameter concrete-filled bollards at each exterior column location. The owner (SWOCC) will pay utility fees, and the existing campus electrical meter will be used for the new building. Contractors are responsible for permitting fees, and no additional features like EV charging stations, solar provisions, or specialized electrical outlets are required. The project will utilize existing site lighting and fiberoptic network connections, with building-mounted lighting to be included in the electrical design-build component.
