About this file
This document is a comprehensive technical specifications file for the Collier County Central County Water Reclamation Facility Expansion Project in Florida. The project involves constructing a new wastewater treatment facility with multiple complex components, including a new headworks, mechanical screening, grit removal systems, flow equalization basin, activated sludge treatment process, membrane bioreactor (MBR) filtration system, sludge holding tank, dewatering facility, reject ground storage tanks, chlorine contact chamber, and associated yard piping improvements. The project will be advertised on June 27, 2025, with sealed bids due by August 26, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. local time. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Naples, Florida.
The project will be competitively bid with multiple line items, including civil site improvements, process systems, structural and architectural work, mechanical systems, yard piping, and electrical and instrumentation improvements. The technical specifications provide detailed requirements for materials, fabrication, installation, testing, and quality control across numerous divisions, including concrete, masonry, metals, thermal and moisture protection, doors, glazing, and specialized process equipment. Bidders must register on the Collier County procurement portal to access complete bidding documents. The project appears to be funded through local municipal infrastructure investment, with precise funding sources not explicitly detailed in the technical specifications file.
