About this file
This document is an addendum to Invitation for Bids 25-003-LH, which pertains to the installation of a security camera system at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, managed by the Macon-Bibb County Government. The addendum provides responses to 22 questions raised by prospective bidders, including details on existing infrastructure, required camera features, and project scope. The addendum also confirms that the project is for the Macon-Bibb County airport, not a standalone airport project, and that the county's IT department will assist with server setup. Additionally, the addendum states that the deadline to submit questions is August 23, 2024, and the bid submission deadline is September 5, 2024 at 12:00 PM EST, with bids to be publicly opened that same day at 2:00 PM. Vendors are welcome to schedule a site visit on August 29, 2024.
The project requires the procurement, design, installation, and configuration of a modern security video camera management system. Bidders must submit both a technical proposal and a cost proposal, and the county is open to either an on-premises or cloud-based solution. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing camera system. No state procurement contract is required to bid on this project.
