About this file

This document is an addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Macon-Bibb County Government Procurement Department for the Installation of a Security Camera System at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. The IFB seeks proposals from qualified security professionals for the procurement, design, installation, and configuration of a modern security video camera management system. The deadline to submit questions has been extended to August 23, 2024, and the site walk has been scheduled for August 29, 2024. The bid due date has been moved to September 26, 2024. The County is seeking options and pricing for technical support, warranties, installation timelines, and existing infrastructure details. The project and associated equipment must be National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant.

The IFB does not specify a budget for the project, but indicates that funding is secured. The County will provide building prints and preferred camera locations, but is open to changes within the proposal. Proposers are required to submit their Technical Proposal and Cost Proposal in separate envelopes. No late responses will be considered, and the award and installation of the complete project is anticipated by the end of October 2024.
