About this file
This is a Scope of Work for drainage repairs at a Department of Defense facility. Project #25-0001 involves demolition and replacement of existing stormwater infrastructure behind Commissary Building 1230, including a junction box, yard inlet, curb inlets, stormwater pipes, and concrete headwall. The contractor must replace stormwater pipes with class III RCP pipe matching existing diameters, provide appropriate bedding and rip rap for stabilization, install a new precast endwall at the discharge point with a dissipation pad, remove vegetation and debris, sawcut and patch asphalt affected by removal and replacement activities, and provide temporary pumps to reroute stormwater during construction. All disturbed areas must be sodded upon project completion.
The contractor is responsible for locating and protecting all underground utilities including telecommunications and commercial cabling prior to ground-disturbing activities and must coordinate with commercial cabling providers. Access between Buildings 1230 and 1231 must remain available at all times for dumpster and parking access. Any planned utility outages require coordination with the ROICC with a minimum of 14 days' advance notice. The contractor must field verify all measurements, maintain a debris-free jobsite, comply with applicable state and local codes, coordinate all construction activities with ROICC, I&E, and base utilities, and assume full responsibility for environmental, health, and safety compliance and any utility damage caused during construction.
