About this file
This document is a Second Amendment to Contract No. 20422, executed between the State of Washington's Department of Enterprise Services and GHS Communications Consulting LLC, a Washington Limited Liability Company. The amendment was dated June 1, 2025, and involves a state government contract for communication and marketing services. The parties previously entered into the original contract on March 1, 2024, with a first amendment on August 1, 2024.
The amendment primarily extends the contract term by thirty-six (36) months, with the new end date of February 28, 2029. Additionally, it introduces a new "pay equality provision" mandated by the Washington State Legislature, which requires the contractor to ensure that similarly employed individuals are compensated equally, with allowances for differentials based on factors such as seniority, merit, production metrics, job-related factors, or regional compensation differences. The contract continues to be for communication and marketing services, though specific service details are not elaborated in the amendment document.
