About this file
This Addendum No. 1, issued August 12, 2026, modifies the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport Terminal Furniture procurement by the Greater Baton Rouge Airport District (procuring through the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge). The project involves furnishing the airport terminal with modular seating systems manufactured by Zoeftig Ltd, including tandem seating configurations, curved collaborative benches, tables, and related hardware across two phased installations. The scope encompasses multiple configurations designated as Config A1, A2, B, D, and E, with specific quantities and locations detailed for Level 1 and Level 2 of the terminal. Phase 1 installation is scheduled for February 8–22, 2027, and Phase 2 for July 12–30, 2027. The addendum revises specifications in Division 12 Furnishings, updates phasing plans (Sheets PH1.2 and PH2.3), and deletes the previously issued Phasing Plan Sheet PH2.4. Bids were due September 3, 2026, with a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit held August 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The contract term allows 180 calendar days for completion of delivery, assembly, installation, and debris removal, with liquidated damages of $700 per calendar day for failure to meet the deadline.
The Zoeftig Vista seating system must meet ISO EN12727 Level 4 Severe Contract Use certification or equivalent independent testing standards, with specified strength ratings for seats, backs, and armrests. Warranty requirements include 25 years for structural components, 3–5 years for upholstery, 10 years for table materials, and 10 years for power casing with 2 years for componentry. All furniture must be preassembled offsite by the vendor, who assumes full responsibility for storage and handling throughout the project duration. The contractor must employ installers with a minimum of three years' experience in similar work and must comply with airport background checks and badge access requirements at vendor expense. Upholstery is available in 60 PVC vinyl color options, and all components must comply with Buy America, Build America (BABA) requirements where applicable. Bid prices must remain firm for 60 days from opening, and award is contingent upon receipt of grants from the Federal Aviation Administration and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Office of Aviation.
