About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities outlining consulting services required for the Cityworks Upgrade, Integration, and Interface Solutions project. The primary objective is to migrate Salt Lake City's existing on-premise Cityworks Asset Management System (AMS) and Public Land and Liability (PLL) version 23.15.2 or higher to the cloud-based Trimble Unity platform. The project encompasses four main tasks: assessing current business practices and workflows through discovery sessions; migrating the Cityworks AMS and PLL databases to Trimble Unity while coordinating with Trimble to prepare the cloud environment; integrating the system with existing business systems including the billing system (Systems and Software's Enquesta and Enquestalink), payment processors (Paymentus or TBD), and vehicle tracking software (Geotab); and developing and executing testing, training, and change management programs. Optional tasks include integration with the City Permit System (Accela or TBD) and document signing software. The selected consultant will also recommend optimized workflows and new interfaces to reduce reliance on paper-based processes and expand mobile field capabilities.
All work products generated during the project, including reports, recommendations, testing matrices, training documentation, and change management documentation, shall become property of the City of Salt Lake City, with the City retaining all copyright ownership. The consultant may retain reproducible copies for information, reference, customary marketing, and public relations purposes. All original documents must be delivered to the City upon work completion and before final payment is issued.
