The project scope requires qualified contractors to supply and install approximately eleven Royal Palm trees (Roystonea regia) with 25 feet of canopy trunk and approximately five Green Malayan Coconut Palm trees (Cocos nucifera) with 15 feet of canopy trunk in the public right of way. All plant material must meet Florida No. 1 grade standards and be free from pests, diseases, and mechanical damage. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, tree bracing, and locates, with installation in the 400 block of Peruvian Avenue. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams, with details available in the project files. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all stated requirements, and the contractor must warrant palm survival for one year from substantial completion, excluding losses from acts of God or owner neglect. Online bid submission is required through the Town's Euna Procurement platform (Bonfire).
Proposers must complete and submit the qualification form with their bid proposal to be considered for award. All bidders must hold a valid County and/or Municipal Tax Receipt (Occupational License) at their fixed business location. The form requires disclosure of the vendor's legal name, business structure (corporation, partnership, or individual), state of incorporation if applicable, principal officers and their election dates, length of time in business overall and continuously in Florida as a service organization, and any conflicts of interest involving Town employees who hold ownership stakes or employment positions within the bidding firm. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the bidder deemed to best serve the Town's interests.
