About this file
This document is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement (Attachment B) issued by Jordan School District in Utah, requiring vendor certification of compliance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97). The attachment establishes mandatory attestation requirements for all vendors contracting with the district to provide goods, services, supplies, information technology, or construction services. Vendors must certify they are not currently engaged in economic boycotts or boycotts of the State of Israel and agree to maintain compliance throughout the contract term. The statement provides specific examples of prohibited boycott activities, including boycotts of the State of Israel, traditional energy and mining companies, firearms manufacturers and distributors, companies not meeting environmental standards beyond applicable regulations, and companies not facilitating access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. The form requires vendor signature, printed name, date, solicitation name and number, and company name to formalize compliance acknowledgment.
The boycott restriction statement applies to the Emergency Power to IT Circuits bid package at multiple Jordan School District facilities, including ten named school sites and auxiliary buildings. This certification requirement is non-negotiable for contract eligibility and vendors failing to comply must immediately notify the district in writing. The statement operates as a prerequisite condition to contract award and execution, with compliance obligations extending for the entire contract duration. No pricing, set-asides, award amounts, or specific contract terms are addressed within this attachment, as it functions solely as a mandatory compliance and certification document for vendor participation in Jordan School District procurement activities.

Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement Attachment B
(Revised 09/10/2024)
ATTACHMENT B
Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement
In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms; companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws; or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.
We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
