About this file

This is an Affirmation of GRAMA (Government Records Access and Management Act) Understanding and Compliance document issued by the Salt Lake City Department of Airports for respondents to the On-Call Airport Internal Audit Services Request for Qualification. The document requires respondents to acknowledge their understanding of Utah Code Chapter 2, Title 63G, which governs the classification and disclosure of records submitted to public entities in Utah. Respondents must affirm that they understand the burden of claiming exemptions from disclosure rests solely with them, that only materials qualifying for specific exemptions such as trade secrets, pricing, and non-public financial information should be marked confidential, and that any confidentiality claims must be accompanied by a concise statement of reasons, a redacted proposal version, and an unredacted version for internal review at the time of submission.

The document further requires respondents to acknowledge that confidentiality claims do not guarantee protection of information, that the City will promptly notify respondents of any disclosure requests for claimed confidential materials, and that respondents may take appropriate actions at their own expense to prevent disclosure. Respondents must sign the affirmation indicating they specifically waive any claims against the City related to disclosure of materials required by GRAMA. A separate GRAMA Business Confidentiality Claim Form is referenced and must be completed by respondents seeking to protect confidential information.
