About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation (Standard Form 30) issued by the US Consulate General Hermosillo to modify Request for Quotation 19MX5726 Q 0002 for Elevator Preventive Maintenance Services. The amendment is numbered A0001 with an effective date of May 15, 2026, and was issued by F. Chad Moore, the Contracting Officer. The modification does not extend the solicitation deadline, and offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the original solicitation or risk rejection of their offer.

The amendment modifies Section 1.1.6.5 (Exclusions) of the solicitation by changing the Major Repairs threshold from $3,000 USD to $5,000 USD per event. The revised language clarifies that any individual unit or incident of repair with a total estimated cost (labor and direct material costs) exceeding $5,000 USD per event is not covered under the contract. The threshold applies strictly to single incidents and is non-accumulative. Repairs exceeding this amount must be quoted separately and will only be executed once a specific purchase order is placed. The Government reserves the right to determine how these repairs are handled, typically through separate contracts. The exclusions do not apply if repairs are necessary to correct damage caused by the Contractor's negligence or carelessness. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
