About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to solicitation 19GE5025R0015 for security perimeter construction services at a former ING Building in Etterbeek, Brussels, Belgium. The amendment modifies the Statement of Work by removing the "Installation" paragraph, adds language about provisional gates, updates FAR clauses, and provides a site plan and Q&As.
The project requires installation of approximately 750 meters of 3-meter high anti-climb fencing, 36 meters of barbed wire fencing, three access gates (5m, 4m, and 1.2m wide), and weather-resistant boarding for windows and entry points at multiple floor levels. Work must be completed within 21 calendar days after the Construction Notice to Proceed, with final completion no later than March 31, 2025. The contractor must submit required documentation within 7 days of award, followed by a 7-day equipment/material purchase period. Provisional gates are permitted to meet the 21-day completion requirement if permanent gate installation cannot be completed in time, though final payment requires permanent gate installation. The Department of State's Office of Acquisition Management is the contracting agency.
