About this file
This document contains a draft request for proposal for programmed depot maintenance of UH-1 aircraft and H-60 repairs for the Department of State. The solicitation seeks a contractor to perform recurring aircraft condition inspections, modifications, corrosion repair, component and accessory overhaul, and refurbishment of UH-1 aircraft on a scheduled basis. Key details include that programmed depot maintenance is anticipated to include induction of 3 aircraft per year from Peru, 2 from Iraq, 1 from Uruguay, 2 from Panama, and 1 from Costa Rica, with additional aircraft from within the continental United States in fiscal years 2023, 2025, and 2026. Since most of the aircraft are located in Central and South America, the Department of State is interested in the feasibility of conducting the programmed depot maintenance at a facility in that region. Comments on the draft statement of work are due by October 29, 2021.
