About this file
This is a Work Request Flow Chart document for the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Jail Facilities maintenance operations, establishing the procedural workflow for managing work requests through the FMI Facilities Center. The chart outlines the complete process from initial work request submission by HCSO through validation, prioritization, and assignment to appropriate trades, with status acknowledgments provided at key milestones including receipt, work order assignment, and when significant changes affect completion timelines. The vendor is required to establish a Service Response Center with documented preventive maintenance procedures and must conduct formal quality control reviews on 20% of all requests, with FMI validating all emergency and priority-one requests upon completion.
The vendor must provide a comprehensive maintenance management system with all necessary technical support, hardware, and software for use by both the sheriff's department and FMI Facilities Center, including detailed training for both organizations. The proposal must detail the Service Response Center's organization, technical capabilities, and the maintenance management system specifications, along with all reports that will be generated through the system to support the work order flow and preventive maintenance program documentation and scheduling requirements.
