FCC TERRE HAUTE - UPGRADE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
PROJECT 23Z4AM4 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS #2
SOLICITATION 15BFA023B00000041
1. Per the SOW, page 8 of 11, #12 Training, there are two options this could be interpreted both are highly technical and a way range of cost impact to the project. Which option does the FBOP want their employees trained in?
CHANGE: See SOW Addendum #2.
2. Item 12. Training: Does the term “manufacturer accredited” and “certifying” require official training from EST, which per EST, they can train 10 staff a time, the training is 1 week in length and currently cost $3,000 per person. Please confirm this is what you are referring to, as this would have to be added to quote.
CHANGE: See SOW Addendum #2.
3. At site visit on 11/15/23 we noticed that several buildings (old power plant/milk barn/HVAC/plumbing shop/Comm shop) seems to have lead paint and asbestos in these buildings. Has there been a determination as to the condition of these areas in regard to hazardous waste. I don’t think OSHA would allow people to work in these areas until these issues are mitigated.
Would FBOP consider eliminating these areas from the project until these issues are resolved. If it is determined that there is lead paint/asbestos in these buildings, this could cause substantial delay of project.
CHANGE: See SOW Addendum #2.
