About this file
This document is a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) Checklist for various commissary equipment, specifically focusing on different types of forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment. The checklist provides detailed maintenance tasks to be performed monthly, quarterly, and annually for equipment such as electric and propane-powered forklifts, narrow aisle stock selectors, swing mast/reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
The maintenance tasks cover a wide range of equipment components, including batteries, brakes, hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, motors, chains, forks, tires, and safety features. Each equipment type has a specific task list that includes checking fluid levels, lubricating moving parts, inspecting electrical connections, examining wear and tear, replacing filters and oils, and ensuring overall operational safety. The checklists are designed to be completed by service technicians, with spaces for their initials and notes, and include a standard note requesting that any deficiencies found during the preventive maintenance check be reported to the Store Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
