About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 2 for Request for Proposal (RFP) 2000004161 issued by the Fairfax County Department of Procurement & Material Management in Virginia. The RFP concerns Stormwater Management, Maintenance and Reporting, with the proposal due date extended to October 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. The addendum includes Attachment 1, which provides detailed responses to nine questions from potential bidders regarding specific technical specifications and requirements, such as maximum sizes for BMP plates, debris cages, Bilco doors, and guidelines for cleaning various stormwater management systems.
The addendum clarifies pricing and measurement units for certain line items, including CCTV inspection (to be measured in linear feet) and parging of pipes/drainage structures. It also confirms that bidders should submit pricing for all line items within a task area, though they are not required to bid on every task. Offerors are instructed to download revised BidTables from the Bonfire procurement portal to ensure proper submission of their proposals. The document maintains a professional tone and provides specific technical guidance to help potential contractors understand the detailed requirements of the stormwater management project.

Q10. #5-8 – CCTV Inspection per LF. The pricing unit is listed as HR. Are you looking for an LF or HR rate?
A10. The pricing unit for CCTV Inspection should be LF. The Price Schedule has been revised.
Q11. The Task Area pricing sheets column one “Not Bidding.” Does this mean you do not have to provide pricing for every line item listed in the task area?
A11. You should submit pricing for all line items for a task. However, you do not need to submit pricing for all tasks. Offerors should download the revised BidTables in Bonfire to submit offers properly.
Q12. #3-13 – Parge Existing Pipes/Drainage Structures Using Non-Shrink Grout. The unit of measure shows CY. Is CY correct or should it be SY?
A12. We elected to go with a smaller volume unit of measure for parging given the likelihood of applying less than a CY for most parging jobs for Task Area 3. This is specific to TA 3 only. Parge Existing Pipes/Drainage Structures Using Non-Shrink Group is listed as #3-12. This line-item has been revised on the Price Schedule and Attachment E to CF UOM.
