About this file
This document is a vendor question and response related to the Olympic National Park Kalaloch Apartments Rehabilitation project (Solicitation Number 140P8325R0004). The vendor is seeking clarification about demolition measurements and asbestos-containing material (ACM) pipe locations within the project. Specifically, the vendor requested a sketch with precise measurements of the Kalaoch apartments to be demolished and additional details about the cementous pipe in the slab.
The government response directs the vendor to refer to Sheet 10 of 12 on the original As Constructed Drawings, with an indication that attachment #12 contains the requested information. The project involves rehabilitation work for the Kalaloch Apartments, managed by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Southeast Region. The document appears to be part of the pre-solicitation information exchange to help potential contractors develop accurate project estimates and understand the scope of work.

1. Can you provide a sketch with measurements of the Kalaoch apartments that are being demolished. The report does not provide measurements or photos of the Cementous pipe found in the slab, making impossible to put together an estimate.
determine from the drawings where the ACM pipes in the slab, begin and end. Do I just assume that it is a straight line from the mechanical room to each apartment or are the lines shared?
Response: Please refer to Sheet 10 of 12 on the original As Constructed Drawings See attachment #12
