About this file

This document is an Amendment (No. 0002) to a federal solicitation for Exhibit Fabrication Services at Ninety Six National Historic Site. The amendment addresses five specific questions from potential contractors regarding exhibit design details, including audio description requirements, audio guidance access methods, illustration usage rights, historical site imagery, and video narration responsibilities.

The key clarifications include: (1) audio description should provide a general overview with interactive location notations, (2) audio guidance can be accessed via storm pad or integrated 3.5mm jack, (3) contractors must obtain usage rights for illustrations if not in public domain, (4) the government will provide a bird's eye view of the site from June 18, 1781 if available otherwise the contractor must create it, and (5) the contractor is responsible for writing and recording video narrations as necessary. The solicitation is issued by the National Park Service (NPS), with a firm fixed-price contract structure, and is associated with Solicitation Number 140P2125R0025.
