About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation 140P2025R0112, a federal contract opportunity for replacing utilities at Glacier National Park. The project involves utility replacements in multiple campground areas including St. Mary, Two Medicine, and Hudson Bay, with specific work including water system modifications, electrical infrastructure updates, and associated infrastructure restoration.

Key details include a proposal submission deadline of January 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time, and construction activities involving water main replacements, well rehabilitations, electrical conduit installations, and campground infrastructure work. The project has specific requirements for material certifications, pipe connections, vault/manhole specifications, and asphalt restoration. Contractors must adhere to park-specific restrictions, such as construction hours, material crushing permissions, and seasonal campground closure schedules. The solicitation provides clarifications on technical specifications, including acceptable pipe materials, conduit types, and installation methods, and offers Word document versions of required submission forms to potential bidders.
