About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Amendment 0003 for FODO 253278, providing detailed responses to 36 technical and procedural questions about an ongoing construction project. The RFI covers multiple system and trade aspects, including personnel requirements, project scheduling, existing infrastructure reuse, and specific technical details across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, communications, and utility systems.

Key highlights include: The project involves renovating an unoccupied building with multiple incomplete systems; the contractor will be responsible for coordinating with utilities (specifically Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation), commissioning all systems, and determining reuse or replacement of existing infrastructure. Critical requirements include installing a new VRF HVAC system, complete fire alarm system, new electrical systems, and coordinating elevator installation with Thyssenkrup Elevators. The contractor must test and verify existing systems, complete partial installations, and ensure all systems meet current code compliance. The utility transformer is already installed, and the utility company will energize the permanent service after contractor equipment inspection and acceptance.
