Questions and Answers – 01/13/2025
The instructions do not specify the time zone for the proposal submission deadline. The SF 1442 form mentions "local time," but the project is located in Arkansas, while the contracting office for National Parks is in Colorado. Could you please clarify whether the due date is based on
Central Time or Mountain Time?
Answer:
Mountain Time Zone will be the official time zone.
I have begun developing our Proposal Schedule and considering the upcoming holidays and the possibility of both subcontractors and employees being unavailable due to vacations, we anticipate potential delays. Therefore, we respectfully request a two-week extension for the submission of this proposal.
Request is granted see solicitation amendment for details.
Factor 3 – Management Approach requests an organizational chart. May we submit the diagram on an 11 x 17-sized digital page, along with an explanation of roles and responsibilities, within the 5-page limit for this section?
Yes this is acceptable.
In the Proposal Instructions on Page 79, there is a requirement for the submission of the "General
References" form, which states that the information provided will be used to determine
Responsibility pursuant to FAR 9.103. However, it appears that the form has not been provided.
Could you kindly supply the required "General References" form at your earliest convenience?
See Attachment - B08_Solit_PSP_Vol_II_GenRefs.doc

For site logistics, will it be possible to have full use of the Libbey Bathouse building with parking lots for staging to other buildings on Bathhouse row where parking and staging are less than possible?
Would Mini-splits be accepted as a mean to heat/cool/reduce humidity?
No, not at this time.
Maurice Elevator is currently not stretcher compliant with International Building Code (IBC).
Please confirm that replacement elevator may be placed in Elevator Pit B06 or B12.
Use existing Elevator Pit.
Is the intent to have the Libbey Elevator be stretcher compliant? It is currently not stretcher compliant with International Building Code (IBC).

When elevator is replaced, would integrate controllers be acceptable at top landing in lieu of an elevator control room?
If the elevator is to be replaced. Would integrate controllers be acceptable at top landing in lieu of an elevator control room?
