About this file
This document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a construction project to extend the public launch ramp at Hemenway Harbor in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Boulder City, Nevada. The RFP provides key details including the solicitation number, contracting officer and point of contact information, and project timeline. It specifies that proposals are due on October 28, 2024, and the period of performance is 730 calendar days. The project has unique material delivery and logistical requirements due to the remote rural location and the need to minimize visitor impact, as the park will remain open during construction. The RFP outlines the non-price evaluation factors in descending order of importance, including technical approach, project experience, key personnel, management approach, schedule, and safety. Past performance is equal in importance to the combined non-price factors. The government intends to award without discussions if possible, and alternate proposals will not be accepted.
