Q11: Sheet C2.1 for Loop B indicates to “replace an existing water spigot” and “install spigot.”
The two locations are fairly close and it is not clear if we are installing 2 spigots or just replacing the one existing spigot. Furthermore, the detail 4 on Sheet C5.8 indicates that the spigot will connect to a 1” water line. Is the 1” waterline existing or is a new 1” waterline to be installed with the spigot? Same goes for the 24” corrugated polyethylene pipe. Is that existing or will that be new?
A11: Four of the 5 comfort stations have existing spigots, which will be replaced. The spigots can tie into the existing water line. The comfort station at the front of Loop D does not have a water spigot, one will be installed. Assume new 1” water line to be installed.
The contractor will provide 24” Corrugated Polyethylene pipe as part of the contract.
Q12: It is unclear who is providing the archeologist, biologist, and tribal member for this project. Is that provided by the NPS?
A12: Archeologist, biologist, and tribal monitor to be provided by NPS.
Q13: I believe that I saw this correctly but the contractor is to provide compaction testing and survey. Could you confirm?
A13: Contractor to provide compaction testing and survey stake-out.
