About this file
This document contains process flow schematics for an Advanced Treatment System at Canyon WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant), designed and manufactured by AquaFloc Filters & Water Treatment Systems.
The first schematic (Sheet 1A) illustrates the primary treatment process flow, beginning with raw sewage from collection, proceeding through a headworks and grinder pump system, then distributing flow through ten aerators organized in two trains (Aerators 1-5 and Aerators 6-10). The system incorporates three lagoons for sequential treatment stages, with sludge management handled through dedicated sludge waste pumps feeding into a sludge storage pond. An ultrasonic level sensor monitors lagoon levels, and treated effluent is directed to an advanced waste water treatment plant. Three blowers provide aeration support to the system, with flow control managed through designated valves and meters. The second schematic (Sheet 1B, revised per startup) provides detailed instrumentation and chemical dosing for the treatment trains, including flocculators, tube settlers, media filters, backwash systems, and control mechanisms. Key operational components include pressure switches, level sensors, flow meters, chlorine feed pumps for disinfection, and sludge waste pump systems. Both trains operate with parallel treatment processes using similar equipment configurations, enabling redundancy and operational flexibility. The system is designed to handle variable influent flows with precise level and pressure controls throughout the treatment sequence.
