AMENDMENT 2
Planning, Design and Fabrication of Wade Curtis Exhibits Solicitation #140P1422Q0072 August 3, 2022
QUESTION 1: In Attachment 13 labeled Wade and Curtis Cabin Space Allocation Plan, there is a photo with exhibits/kiosks marked in red. Is the campground registration kiosk part of the scope of work? Or is it simply marked on the photo for each bidder's reference?
RESPONSE 1: Kiosk is not part of scope of work. It was recently installed and is indicated on map to show adjacent information/orientation facilities. Outdoor exhibit area shown in page 2 of the Attachment 13 is relevant and is proposed location for outdoor exhibits/panels on river safety and history included in the scope of work.
QUESTION 2: In the Scope of Work document, Section 2.5 Meetings, Travel, and Presentations, there is a suggested project timeline. On the timeline, there are four meetings prior to installation, but after the initial site visit, during the design phase that are suggested to be "At Park". Are those on-site visits required, or is the park open to adjusting them to virtual meetings?
RESPONSE 2: On site visits are not required but suggested. The park is open to these being adjusted to virtual meetings.
QUESTION 3: In the Scope of Work document, Section 3.7.2.6 Audio Description, the National Park Service is requesting an audio description tour of the exhibit. Does the park have an exhibit audio description program/product they would prefer? Or is the park open to the contractor suggesting what type of program/product to use?
RESPONSE 3: The monument does not have a preferred audio description program/product and would look to the contractor to suggest what type of program/product to use for this application and location.
