About this file

This document is a Pre-Bid Site Visit Questions and Answers record for the Conant Bank Stabilization & Parking Area Expansion project dated August 25, 2026. The document lists two attendees from Morrison-Maierle and RIVHAB, PLLC who participated in the pre-bid site visit.

The project comprises three main components: bank stabilization design and construction, raft launch design and repair/relocation construction, and parking area expansion design and construction. The contractor is responsible for all required permits and must complete work on the bank adjacent to the raft launch, the raft launch itself, and the raft launch parking area, excluding the main concrete boat ramp. The existing vault toilets within the raft launch parking area will remain in place. The property line extends further east than the existing buck-n-pole fence; government-furnished survey data includes property boundaries, and the parking area expansion must utilize all available BLM land. An in-stream work window of September 15 through October 31 applies to bank stabilization and raft launch construction, and the contractor is responsible for verifying any other restricting work windows. During construction, the main recreation site section will remain open while the BLM coordinates with the contractor to close the raft launch section and provide temporary access without requiring passage through the main boat ramp and parking area. Public safety complaints regarding unsafe conditions at the current raft launch location and during high river flows have been documented.
