About this file

This document is a price quotation specification from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in the state of Washington for the purchase of Type A electric school buses by school districts within the state. The specification outlines the required technical specifications for the buses, including details on seating capacity, axle ratings, brakes, motors, lights, and wheelchair lift and tie-down systems. It also includes a district-supported options section for additional features such as air conditioning, backup alarms, and camera systems. The quotation is seeking pricing from vendors on both non-lift and lift buses to establish a published list that school districts may use to place orders directly with dealers.

The pricing terms indicate the quoted prices are based on payment within 30 days of delivery without sales tax. There are no specific set-asides or incumbent information provided. The funding for these purchases will come from the school districts themselves, though the document does not specify any budget amounts or sources. The contract term is not explicitly stated, though the quotation is for the 2024-2025 school year.
