About this file

This is Addendum 1 issued by the City of Madison Finance Department's Purchasing Services for bid #13060-0-2025-BP for Intrusion and Fire Alarms, dated January 23, 2025. The addendum addresses questions regarding communication pathways and services for the alarm systems.

The addendum clarifies that the City of Madison will provide communication paths for VoIP or Ethernet where necessary, but prefers the vendor to handle installation of cellular dialers or radio mesh communicators when required. Additionally, while the City will provide any Ethernet/VoIP connections, the vendor is expected to provide cellular or radio network services where necessary. Questions should be directed to Brian Pittelli at City of Madison Purchasing Services.
