Questions Received Answers Could you clarify who’s doing the final design? the highlighted lines attached below seem to conflict.
Is a geotechnical engineer required; will the government approve subgrade? There is not a need for a geotechnical engineer and the subgrade will be inspected by the project COR.
Could you provide the site visit date / time? The pre-bid site(s) visit will start at 9 AM at the staging area for the “Clubhouse” bridge on May 16th. Details, maps, and logistics were provided on SAM.gov.
I understand the conflict. “H” would supersede “A” since R-1739-01 (Plan & Elevation) and R-1739-02 (Abutment & Railing Details) have both been approved and signed by the USFS Regional Engineer, Leonard Job upon recommendation of the USFS Regional Bridge Engineer, Darrell Pereira.
