About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 127EAY26Q0079, Smith River Vault Toilet Pumping. The document addresses clarifications regarding unit of measure and pricing for vault toilet pumping services.
The document clarifies that one (1) EA (each) represents the pumping of a single vault toilet, not a service call or trip that may include multiple vaults. Regarding pricing structure, the Contracting Officer revised the initial answer to specify that travel mileage will be reimbursed at the prevailing Federal mileage rate in accordance with FAR 31.205-46, separate from unit pricing. Offerors are required to incorporate all other mobilization, routing, staging, and operational costs into the unit price for pumping. The Government commits to bundling work orders geographically to the maximum extent practicable to support efficient contractor routing. The pricing schedule identifies quantities of 10.5 EA and 13.5 EA for Area 1, and 2 EA and 3 EA for Area 2, corresponding to approximately 23 vaults in Area 1 and 14 vaults in Area 2 per the Performance Work Statement.
