About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a solicitation for an integrated Workers' Compensation and Safety case management software as a service solution for the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The solicitation seeks a fully inclusive SaaS licensing solution to include training and regular maintenance. There are approximately 30,000 permanent employees and up to 50,000 temporary employees during fire seasons that would need access to open or have cases opened on their behalf through the system. The ability to open and access cases would also need to be extended to non-federal employees such as volunteers, contractors, and affiliates. Section I is not included in the solicitation document and responses to Appendices D and E can be included with proposals as acceptable additions.
The solicitation number is 12760421Q0122 for the 2021 eSafety Recompete opportunity to provide an integrated WC/SOH case management, recording, and reporting solution on a software as a service model for the Forest Service.

QUESTIONS
1. Page 3 - In the pricing schedule there are several line items related to licenses cost (in the base year, they are line items 0004, 0005 and 0006). What is the total number of employees at Forest Service? Approximately 30K permanent employees and up to 50K temporary employees during an active fire season. And will every Forest Service employee have the ability to open a case or have a case opened on their behalf (i.e. by a Manager/ Supervisor , a WC case manager, representative at the HRM contact center, etc.). Yes, however, the ability needs to be extended to non-Federal Employees, i.e. Volunteers, Contractors, Affiants, etc.
2. ‘Section I’ is missing from the RFP document. Is it located somewhere else? Do we need to submit an additional document? There is no “Section I’ to the RFP. There is Attachment 1, which includes other attachments and appendices to the RFP.
3. In attachment 1 - Should vendors add responses to Appendix D and E to submit? Yes, this would be acceptable.
