About this file

This document is a road log for ERFO 13 Road Project, issued by the USDA Forest Service for the Monongahela National Forest, located in the Great Potomac Ranger District. The road log details extensive road maintenance and infrastructure improvements spanning multiple stations between 0.638 and 8.378 miles. Key work includes road grading, reshaping ditches, adding stone coverage, replacing culverts, installing gas pipes, and implementing erosion control measures. Specific tasks involve upgrading culvert sizes from aluminum to HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), adding rip-rap for bank stabilization, constructing rock headwalls, and addressing water drainage and road surface issues. The project involves precision engineering with specific requirements such as 13-foot wide road surfaces, 4-inch deep stone layers using 1½ crusher run, and targeted infrastructure enhancements to manage water flow and prevent road degradation.
