This is a specification section for construction work on a federal solicitation for campground improvements. Section 646 describes the relocation of an existing vault toilet building at the Sam Owen Campground on the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. The Contractor must remove the existing vault toilet building and reinstalling it at Scotchman Peak Trailhead (latitude 48.1643070, longitude -116.0986980), approximately 8 miles northeast of Clark Fork, Idaho. The work includes pumping the vault of all sewage and debris prior to removal, transporting the building safely to avoid damage, and installing the toilet following manufacturer specifications for the CXT Cascadian model precast concrete vault toilet building. The Contractor is responsible for all aspects of the relocation including excavation, bedding, backfilling, compaction, finish grading, site restoration at the original location, securing required permits for transport, and repairing any damage incurred during relocation operations, up to and including replacement of damaged components. The original site must be restored to match surrounding terrain with removal of all foundation materials and debris, proper backfilling and compaction, finish grading to blend with adjacent contours, and restoration of drainage patterns. Payment is based on the contract price per unit of measurement as listed in the schedule of items, with payment constituting full compensation for all prescribed work. This specification is part of Solicitation Number 1240LT26Q0071, a Request for Quotation set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 237990, with the quote due date extended to July 16, 2026.
