Questions and Answers 003 7/30/2025

1Q: What is considered to be well accessories?

1A: Section 332100 1.8 A.6 “Well Accessories: Lump Sum for well Accessories. This item shall include furnishing and installing the pit less unit and sanitary well cap, including all connections to the well casing, drop pipe and supply line. This item shall also include 10 feet of waterline beyond the well casing as shown on the Drawings.”

2Q: Is the location for the well a level site? We would require a 100’x100’ level and compacted site.

2A: Yes. The existing site is cleared if you require more compaction that would be the requirement of the contractor.

3Q: Who is responsible for the grubbing and erosion control?

3A: Contractor.

4Q: Can the drill cuttings be left on-site?

4A: Yes.

5Q: Can the development water from the well be left on-site and allowed to flow on the ground?

If so, where will it flow to?

5A: It can, must not cause erosion into adjacent waterways, see specification Section 023701 Sediment and Erosion Control Measures.

6Q: Who is responsible for the reclamation of the site?

6A: Contractor.

7Q: What is the anticipated start date for drilling?

7A: October, 2025.
