About this file

This is a Brand Guidelines document for IPW 2026, a travel industry event hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB/Visit Lauderdale) in Florida. The document establishes comprehensive visual and design standards for all promotional materials and collateral related to the IPW 2026 event scheduled for May 17-21, 2026, in Greater Fort Lauderdale. The guidelines specify logo usage requirements including full-color vertical and horizontal versions, white logos, and variations with event dates, with minimum sizes of 1 inch for print and 100 pixels for digital applications. The document details clear space requirements, file format specifications (EPS, JPG, and PNG), co-branding rules that prioritize the IPW 2026 logo as the most prominent visual element, and strict prohibitions on logo rotation, distortion, color alteration, and drop shadows. Additionally, the guidelines establish standards for digital materials including website design, social media graphics, email banners, and speaker headshots, along with photography and imagery selection criteria emphasizing inclusive representation, forward-thinking themes, and authentic local Fort Lauderdale references.

The document establishes a comprehensive color palette consisting of primary colors (IPW Coral, IPW Aqua, IPW Teal, and IPW Sand) designed to convey energy and excitement, supplemented by secondary and web-friendly colors including IPW Dark Blue and IPW Dark Grey for digital applications. Typography standards mandate Gotham as the primary font for body text and headlines, with Fenice Pro Bold designated as an accent font for emphasis, while maintaining a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for accessibility compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The guidelines include specific requirements for digital button styles, with registration buttons utilizing Web Teal and other interactive elements using Web Aqua, both featuring rounded 35-pixel corners and white text in Gotham Bold. Graphic elements emphasize big, bold typography, wave graphic elements in branded colors positioned behind imagery, and bold accent highlights to improve readability and emphasize key messaging. The document provides sample brand applications demonstrating the integration of these guidelines across promotional channels, event announcements, sponsorship opportunities, and collateral materials for the IPW 2026 golf outing and exhibitor information.

LOGO VERSIONS

Full color logo (vertical): This version should be used on white and light colored backgrounds.

Full color logo (horizontal): The horizontal variations of the logo is available for use, depending on layout constraints.

White logo: Use the white logo when placing the IPW logo on top of any background or image that is not white or transparent.

Logo with dates: This version should be used when the dates need to be included but there’s no space for additional copy.

FILE FORMATS

EPS: You should use an EPS file when you need a high-quality, scalable image that can be resized without losing quality. Often required for printing. Reqires design software to open and use (Adobe).

JPG: JPEGs are often used for web images because they can be compressed to much smaller file sizes than other types of image files. This makes them load faster on websites and reduces bandwidth costs for website owners. JPEGs are also often used for email attachments because they are small enough to send quickly.

PNG: PNG files are a good choice when you need high quality, lossless images with transparency, or when you plan on editing the image multiple times.

5BRAND GUIDELINES | IPW 2026

Logo Guidelines

CO-BRANDING CO-BRANDING

CLEAR SPACE

Our logo should always be legible and impactful. Avoid placing the logo in a busy area of an image, low contrast areas where legibility is compromised, or on top of text or supporting graphics.

The clear space should be at least the height of the logo’s wayfinder symbol on all sides as shown to the right.

MINIMUM SIZE

Establishing a minimum size ensures that the impact and legibility of the logo aren’t compromised. The logo should never be scaled below 1 inch in width for print or 100px for digital.

LOGO MISUSE

It’s important that the appearance of the logo remains consistent. The logo should not be misinterpreted, modified, or added to. Its orientation, color and composition should remain as indicated in this document—there are no exceptions.

•Don’t rotate the logo.
•Don’t stretch or alter the shape of

the logo.

• Don’t place the logo in a busy area or in low-contrast areas where legibility is compromised.

If a certain image is required, use gradients between the image and the logo to create the correct contrast for legibility.

• Don’t change the colors of the logo.

• Don’t add drop shadows.

CO-BRANDING RULES

Dominance of IPW Brand: The IPW 2026 logo should always be the most prominent visual element.

Sponsor Logos: Sponsors and partners may be included but should be given enough white space to avoid overwhelming the IPW brand. Use subtle, clean design to place sponsor logos without detracting from the main event message.

IPW and/or UST logos should always be more prominent in size and positioning than sponsor logos if listed together in an asset.

DON’T ROTATE DON’T DISTORT DON’T ALTER COLORSCLEAR SPACE

NO DROP SHADOWSKEEP LEGIBLE

Note: If a drop shadow is needed for legibility, it should be adjusted to be a subtle as possible like these examples

Color Palette

2026 PALETTE

IPW 2026’s color palette is full of energy and excitement. We’re introducing four new shades inspired by the 2026 brand—IPW Coral, IPW Aqua, IPW Teal and IPW Sand—to represent a fresh, vibrant look. These four core colors form the foundation of IPW’s 2026 visual identity and should take the lead in large color blocks, striking headers and other key design elements. For digital assets, we’ve designated three web-friendly colors—IPW Aqua, IPW Dark Blue and IPW Dark Grey—which should be used consistently across websites, emails and other digital platforms.

PRIMARY COLORS

IPW Coral, Teal, Aqua and Sand are the core colors of the IPW 26 brand and should be used consistently across materials to maintain a cohesive visual identity.

Coral and Teal are strong, vibrant colors ideal for headlines, graphic elements and calls to action, while Aqua offers a versatile and approachable tone suited for both large areas and accent use. Sand, though a primary color, should be reserved primarily for backgrounds or used as text only when placed over dark or highly saturated backgrounds to ensure sufficient contrast and readability. IPW Dark Grey should be used for all body copy to ensure clarity, consistency and strong readability across all communications. Always consider accessibility and visual balance when combining primary colors in layouts.

DIGITAL

For all web and digital applications, use IPW Coral for registration-related calls to action (CTAs), including primary buttons. Use IPW Aqua (WEB) for all other interactive elements, such as secondary buttons, links and icons. Button text should be set in Soft White to ensure readability. For more details, refer to page 10.

IPW Dark Grey is the standard color for all subheader and body text. Always ensure sufficient contrast between text and background colors to maintain readability and meet accessibility standards across devices.

FENICE PRO BOLD

PRIMARY FONT

Gotham Used for large, bold titles and body text. This clean, modern sans-serif font communicates sophistication and clarity. Gotham Book should be the standard font for body copy on all materials. The heavier weights (Medium, Bold and Black) can be used to emphasize parts of sentences or make text more legible on varying backgrounds.

SECONDARY FONT

Use Fenice Pro Bold as an accent font to add emphasis or visual interest. It works well for highlighting key phrases, titles or headers, or decorative text elements on printed signage or materials. Fenice Pro Bold should be used sparingly to complement the overall design without overwhelming it.

NO DROP SHADOWS OR UNDERLINES

Text should be legible and easy to read without embellishments.

EMPHASIS

Use color and varying font weights/sizes to create emphasis, not underlines or drop shadows.

UNFORGETTABLE JOURNEY

THROUGH DIVERSE CULTURES,

AND HIDDEN GEMS.

Keep headlines short. The headline treatment loses impact when there are greater than 6 words.

Headline Guidelines Headlines should be set in Fenice Pro Bold and serve as the primary focus of the design. Headlines must always be under 10 words with additional supporting copy used underneath as subheader and/or body text. They should be written in title case, not any other format or using all capitalizations. The exception to this is the tagline treatment, which stands out from a traditional, regular headline.

Headlines placed on light backgrounds such as White or IPW Sand should use IPW Dark Blue to ensure strong contrast and readability. When headlines appear on dark backgrounds, use lighter colors such as White or IPW Sand to maintain legibility and visual balance. This ensures text stands out clearly by using dark-on-light or light-on-dark combinations for better readability and accessibility, especially for visually impaired users.

Always provide adequate spacing around headlines to allow them to stand out, avoid placing headlines too close to other elements like logos or body copy. Align them consistently—typically right-aligned or centered depending on the layout.

For accessibility, maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 between the headline and its background and ensure font size and weight are appropriate for readability across all screen sizes.

To add emphasis, parts of the header can be highlighted using a contrasting color. Be sure to choose colors with sufficient contrast for readability (examples provided on the right).

Fenice Pro Bold can be paired with Gotham Bold (all caps) to differentiate between hierarchical levels of information.

Digital Materials

WEBSITE DESIGN STANDARDS:

Button Styles Use rounded corners for call-to-action buttons (e.g., “Register Now”, “View Agenda”, etc.)

Headers Big, bold typography with high contrast, ensuring readability across all devices.

Speaker Headshots Remove the background from the original image and place it over a wavy, circular background for a cohesive and fresh look. The background color must use an IPW26 brand color (avoid using IPW Amber and IPW Blue) and may vary based on the overall design and the photo we receive.

Hyperlinks should be colored Web Aqua to ensure visibility and easy interaction.

Due to reduced accessibility, IPW Sand should only be used as a background color or for text when paired with a dark background.

SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS:

Keep the graphics energetic and aligned with the visual identity, using bold text overlays and duotoned photos.

Image Dimensions: Square (1080x1080 px) or horizontal (1200x628 px) for consistency across platforms.

EMAIL BANNER & SPEAKER HEADSHOTS:

The background of speaker photos must always be removed and replaced with the IPW26-colored wavy background as stated above.

Button designs should follow the specs to the right.

Note: All web assets should be tested with a WCAG Color Contrast Checker to ensure that IPW materials comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

BRAND GUIDELINES | IPW 2026 11

Photography & Imagery

IMAGE SELECTION

The imagery should be energetic, dynamic and inspiring. The photos should reflect the excitement, diversity and modernity of IPW 2026.

In the example to the right, Row 1 features single-image focused photography— highlighting a speaker, industry leader, or a South Florida visual icon (such as a palm tree)—paired with the wave graphic element to reinforce the brand’s visual identity. Row 2 showcases event photography, which should always include rounded corners to echo the curves found in the wave graphic.

Row 3 provides examples of how to thoughtfully combine photography and the graphic element with copy for a cohesive brand asset.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS

Inclusive and Welcoming Represent diverse ages, genders, ethnicities and backgrounds.

Forward-Thinking and Inspiring Showcase people engaged in brainstorming, networking and sharing ideas.

Local Flavor Incorporate subtle references to Fort Lauderdale’s distinctive landscapes and vibrant energy, while avoiding over-reliance on the city skyline. Use photography to highlight local icons authentically— without resorting to illustrated iconography. Images should feature bold, singular compositions that make a strong visual impact on their own.

White Space When using photography, copy should be placed within the natural white space of the image whenever possible. This ensures that the text remains clear, legible and visually balanced without overpowering the photo. Avoid placing text over busy or detailed areas of the image to maintain readability and uphold a clean, professional look.

WHAT TO AVOID:

• Overly staged or too many generic stock photos

• Photography that uses old logos (ie, IPW 2025 or earlier)

• People looking unhappy or not engaged in the camera

12BRAND GUIDELINES | IPW 2026

Tagline

FONT & COLOR

The “Bringing the World” portion of the tagline should be set in Gotham Book, all caps, while “To America” should be in Fenice Pro Bold. The text must be white when placed over a colored or photographic background that aligns with one of our brand colors. When using this lockup on a white or light background, apply two contrasting colors from the brand color palette—one for “Bringing the World” and a different, bolder shade for “To America.” This ensures clarity, visual balance and consistency with the overall brand identity, while reinforcing the journey-to-destination message.

SECONDARY LAYOUT

This tagline should be used for social media with the phrase “Bringing the World” split across three lines on the left and “To America” split across two lines on the right. These two elements should mirror each other in layout. Ensure proper alignment and equal spacing between them to maintain visual balance and readability.

COLOR CONTRAST

Always use two distinct colors for the slanted lines and the background to ensure a visually appealing contrast. The lines should be bold and not too close to the background color to ensure legibility and visual separation between the tagline and background.

CONSISTENCY

Ensure that the placement, font choice and use of colors are consistent across all platforms and materials. The design should be easily recognizable and aligned with our event’s identity.

Graphic Elements

BIG, BOLD TYPOGRAPHY

Large headlines with strong presence are essential for grabbing attention and setting the tone for the event. Typography should always feel energetic and modern.

ROUNDED AND SQUARE CORNERS

A combination of both adds versatility and a sense of movement.

Rounded corners soften designs, creating an approachable feel, while square corners provide structure and clarity. Keep usage balanced to ensure the design remains sophisticated, not overly playful.

WAVE GRAPHIC ELEMENTS

Soft Waves: These should be placed behind photos or large imagery in IPW branded colors. Be sure to remove the background so the waves integrate seamlessly with the visuals.

Tight Waves: Use thinner, more detailed waves as accent elements in IPW branded colors. These are best for complementing graphics, enhancing layouts, and adding a subtle branded touch without overpowering the imagery.

BOLD ACCENT HIGHLIGHT

Use a thick rectangular highlight beneath text to improve readability or to emphasize key words and phrases. This element draws attention and helps important copy stand out within the design.
