About this file
This is a preference certification form (Form I) issued by the Texas Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for use in responding to a Request for Proposal to provide Service of Process services for the Child Support Division in in-state, nationwide, and international locations. The form allows respondents to certify their eligibility for various state and federal procurement preferences, enabling bidders to identify qualifications that may enhance their competitiveness in the solicitation process.
The form provides checkboxes for respondents to claim preferences across multiple categories, including Texas resident service-disabled veteran ownership, Texas production or service provision, agricultural products grown or offered in Texas, native Texas vegetation, USA-produced supplies and materials, products made by persons with disabilities, recycled or environmentally sensitive materials, energy-efficient products, and foods of higher nutritional value. Respondents who claim a Texas address as their business location must certify they qualify as a Texas Resident Bidder as defined under Texas Government Code Section 2252.001(4). The form was revised in March 2014 and requires execution as part of the proposal submission process.
