The District reserves the right to award items to multiple vendors and may award entire product categories to a single vendor if deemed in the District's best interest. Awards will be made to the apparent lowest price bidder for acceptable products or services within each category, with three possible award scenarios: a single vendor for hardware and services combined, multiple vendors with hardware to one vendor and services to another, or multiple vendors with hardware categories divided among vendors and services to a separate vendor. The contract is funded in part with federal funds, requiring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, the Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment, and debarment and suspension regulations. Vendors must maintain adequate resources including storage space, vehicles, and staffing to execute deployment and removal services according to District specifications and timelines, with all imaging infrastructure setup costs falling to the vendor. The District serves approximately 29,000 students across more than 60 sites within its 56 square-mile service area in Pierce County, Washington.
