About this file
This is a Drug Free Workplace Form document associated with the Columbus Drive Bridge #105504 Painting and Repair project administered by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners in Florida. The form establishes compliance requirements for contractors and subcontractors participating in the rehabilitation of Bridge #105504, a 100-year-old swing bridge located over the Hillsborough River. The project scope includes painting, truss member repairs, installation of a swing-span stop assembly, and miscellaneous improvements to the structure. As a condition of bid submission and contract award, all participating firms must complete and certify compliance with drug-free workplace policies and procedures.
The Drug Free Workplace Form serves as a mandatory certification document requiring contractors to attest to the implementation and maintenance of drug-free workplace programs. This certification is a standard requirement for participation in Hillsborough County construction projects and ensures compliance with applicable federal and state workplace safety regulations. The form does not contain pricing information; however, it is a prerequisite document for bid eligibility. The project carries a 0% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) subcontractor participation goal. All bidders must execute and return the Drug Free Workplace Form as part of their sealed bid submission to be considered for award of this bridge rehabilitation contract.
