About this file
This is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement (Attachment B) required by the Jordan School District for the Riverton High School Stadium Lighting & AV System Upgrade project in Utah. The document outlines compliance requirements under Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97), which mandates that all vendors contracting with the Jordan School District must certify they are not currently engaged in an "economic boycott" or a "boycott of the State of Israel" as defined in the statute. Vendors must agree to maintain compliance with these restrictions for the entire contract duration if awarded. The statement provides specific examples of prohibited boycotts, including those targeting the State of Israel, companies engaged in traditional energy, mining, or agriculture, firearms manufacturers and distributors, companies not meeting environmental standards beyond applicable regulations, and companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. Vendors must also agree to immediately notify the public entity in writing if they engage in any such boycott during the contract period.
The document requires vendors to execute the certification statement by providing their company name, printed name of the authorized representative, signature, and date. The statement applies to all goods and services provided under the contract, including supplies, information technology, and construction services. Failure to comply with or misrepresentation regarding boycott activities may result in contract termination or other remedies available to the Jordan School District under Utah law.

ATTACHMENT B
Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement
In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms; companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws; or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.
We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
