About this file

This is an Affirmation of GRAMA Understanding and Compliance document related to Salt Lake City's Department of Airports solicitation for on-call civil engineering consulting services at Salt Lake City International Airport, South Valley Regional Airport, and Tooele Valley Airport in Utah. The document requires respondents to acknowledge their understanding of the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), Chapter 2, Title 63G, Utah Code, which governs the classification and disclosure of records submitted to public entities. Respondents must affirm that they understand the burden of claiming exemptions from disclosure rests solely with the respondent and that only materials qualifying for exemption under the act—such as trade secrets, pricing information, and non-public financial information—should be marked as confidential. All materials must not be stamped confidential; respondents must submit a written claim of exemption at the time of proposal submission that includes a concise statement of reasons supporting confidentiality, a redacted version omitting claimed confidential information, and an unredacted version for internal review.

Respondents must also acknowledge that claiming confidentiality does not guarantee the information will be protected and that the City will promptly notify respondents of any disclosure requests for confidential materials. Respondents may take appropriate actions at their sole expense to prevent disclosure but specifically waive any claims against the City related to disclosure of materials required by GRAMA. The document requires the signature of an authorized representative and their printed name and title as acknowledgment of these terms and conditions.
