About this file
This Scope of Work (SOW) document issued by the Nevada Department of Administration details parking lot sweeping services for two distinct contract groups under solicitation 08DOA-S3675. The first group covers quarterly sweeping services at three locations: Decatur DMV (7170 N. Decatur Blvd.), Flamingo DMV (8250 W. Flamingo Rd.), and Campos Building/Parole & Probation (215 E. Bonanza Rd.). The second group encompasses monthly sweeping services at the McCarran Center complex, which includes 16 buildings and parking facilities across multiple addresses. The contractor must supply all equipment, labor, materials, transportation, and waste disposal necessary to maintain clean parking lots and gutters at these locations. Sweeping operations must occur during off-peak hours (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.), preferably on Sundays for the quarterly group and Sunday through Friday for the monthly group. The contractor will receive access cards for locked facilities and must clean to the edge of pavement, including debris removal around concrete bumpers, with all waste material properly hauled and disposed of in compliance with applicable regulations.
The SOW does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, or award dates. The contractor is responsible for all operational costs including hauling, dumping fees, water procurement (if applicable), and compliance with drought restrictions. Vehicles must be properly maintained, equipped with company logos, and comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including muffler requirements and spill kits for hydraulic fluid containment. The contractor assumes financial responsibility for any property damage caused during operations, environmental compliance violations, storm water pollution control, and sediment control. Monthly itemized invoices detailing locations and service dates and times must be submitted to Buildings and Grounds. Contractors must report any damage, vandalism, or hazardous conditions to the Buildings and Grounds Representative at (702)-486-4300. No incumbent information, set-asides, or funding sources are identified in this document.
