LINE ITEM DESCRIPTIONS

A. Everything needed to remove existing 4-ply built-up roofing including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

B. Everything needed to remove existing single layer shingled roof and felt paper including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

C. Everything needed to remove existing insulation including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

D. Everything needed to remove existing roof drain assemblies and install new cast iron roof drain including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

E. Everything needed to remove existing rain gutters and downspouts including but not limited to

F. Everything needed to remove non-friable asbestos base flashings including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials. Asbestos removal shall be accomplished by Hill AFB approved abatement contractor (abatement contractor requirements listed in requirements section of contract). Asbestos waste must be properly packaged and disposed of at an approved landfill.

G. Everything needed to remove existing waterproofing membrane (dirt covered roofs) including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

H. Everything needed to remove existing earth berm (dirt covered roofs) backfill/re-install earth berm upon completion of roofing work including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

I. Everything needed to remove existing gravel ballast/aggregate over built-up roofing system

J. Everything needed to remove existing roof hatch and re-install new roof hatch in accordance with specifications including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

K. Everything needed to remove existing lightning protection system and re-installation of system after roofing work has been completed to include UL re-certification of the system by an approved contractor including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of

L. Everything needed to lift existing lightning protection from roof (without disconnecting system) and re-installing after roofing work has been completed (no recertification required) including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

M. Everything needed to set-up for a roof less than 30’ in height to enable materials, waste, personnel, and equipment, etc. access to and from the roof. Includes any safety equipment and PPE required.

N. Everything needed to set-up for a roof 30’ or more in height to enable materials, waste, personnel, and equipment, etc. access to and from the roof. Includes any safety equipment and PPE required.

O. Everything needed to install a 3-ply hot mopped modified bitumen roof system with an SBS modified cap sheet over the top. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

P. Everything needed to install asphalt shingles and #30 felt underlayment. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not

Q. Everything needed to install metal flashing/counter flashing. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to

R. Everything needed to install metal gravel stop with 6” face. Must be in compliance with Base

S. Everything needed to install expansion joint. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to equipment, T. Everything needed to install 5” aluminum rain gutters and downspouts. Must be in compliance

U. Everything needed to install rigid insulation. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, V. Everything needed to install fiberglass batt insulation with vapor barrier. Must be in compliance

W. Everything needed to install metal parapet cap. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to

X. Everything needed to install 3’ wide SBS modified walkway pads. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not

Y. Everything needed to install heat trace system such as power, controls, and cable. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements

Z. Everything needed to install ¾” plywood sheathing. Must be in compliance with Base design

AA. Everything needed to install thru wall scupper to meet roof drainage requirements. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements

BB. Everything needed to install pitch pockets. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, CC. Everything needed to install wood curbs. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, DD. Everything needed to install waterproofing membrane system to include drainage and protection board (dirt covered roofs). Must be in compliance with Base design standards, EE. Everything needed to re-seed vegetation, grass (dirt covered roof). Must be in compliance with

FF. Everything needed to install gravel ballast coating on built-up roof. Must be in compliance with

GG. Everything needed to install concrete splash blocks. Must be in compliance with Base design

HH. Everything needed to install snow guards/rails. Must be in compliance with Base design

II. Everything needed to install structural standing seam roof. Must be in compliance with Base

JJ. Everything needed to install EPDM roof system. Must be in compliance with Base design

KK. Everything needed to install/apply caulk or sealant as needed. Must be in compliance with Base

LL. Everything needed to cleanout rain gutters, downspouts, and drains and ensure proper water flow. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

MM. Everything needed to perform an infrared roof inspection and provide detailed report of findings. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of

NN. Everything needed to perform EPDM/TPO/PVC roof repairs. Must be in compliance with Base design standards, contract specifications, and the UFC requirements including but not limited to equipment, materials, labor, and disposal of waste materials.

OO. Everything needed to remove existing Standing Seam Metal Roof including but not limited to

PP. Everything needed to install ½” Cover Board. Must be in compliance with Base design

QQ. Everything needed to install Polyvinyl-Chloride Roofing (PVC). Must be in compliance with Base
