About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to a federal solicitation for flooring product and installation services. The Library of Congress currently has an incumbent contractor, Carpet Resources, Inc., under contract number LCISS19D0016 awarded on May 9, 2019 and expiring on May 27, 2024 with a maximum value of $10 million. The solicitation seeks a variety of flooring options to support maintenance, renovation, and preservation projects across over 4 million square feet of space in the Library's buildings on and near the Capitol campus as well as other facilities. Offerors are to propose their own product pricing format rather than using the template attachment. Manufacturers typically offer either a standard or upgraded cushion backing system for carpet tile.
