About this file

This document is a Solicitation Amendment for Solicitation No. 00619 for Custom Uniforms issued by the State of Washington's Department of Enterprise Services. The amendment provides updates to a previous question and answer, as well as additional questions and answers from the solicitation's Q&A period. The solicitation seeks to establish new Master Contracts for custom uniforms, jumpsuits, and related alteration services. The state intends to award separate Master Contracts for Category 1 - Custom Uniforms and Category 2 - Custom Jumpsuits, each of which will include applicable alteration services. The solicitation covers jurisdictions within the State of Washington, including Thurston County.

The amendment clarifies that in the event of a split award, the awardee for each category would only provide alteration services for the garments within their awarded category. There are no changes to the overall solicitation requirements. All other terms, conditions, and specifications remain unchanged.

Change Solicitation?
Amd 2 – Question 10 Updated.
WSP has officers located thoughout the state of Washington and will need to have measurements taken at their district headquarters offices or detachments offices located in xxx(need locations from WSP).

How will your company manage supporting these various locations for measurements, fit testing, alterations, etc.?

This answer applies to Category One and Category Two. DES will be looking for how vendors provide service in throughout the state.
Yes.
Amd 3 - Question 1
In the event of a split award, we want to clarify that alterations bid on the alterations tab only apply to garments that are awarded to the bidder. In the event of a split award, Section 1 awardee would provide alteration services to those items and the Section 2 awardee would provide alterations to those items. An awardee would not be asked to provide alterations to a section that they did not get awarded.
Section 2.1 of the 00619 Solicitation states that the State will award one (1) statewide Master Contract for Category 1 - Custom Uniforms and one (1) Master Contract for Category 2 – Custom Jumpsuits, both categories will include applicable alteration services.

Enterprise Services intends to award Master Contracts by category. The alterations for each category are applicable to that specific category.
