About this file

This document is a Project Financial Overview for a water infrastructure project by a local municipality, specifically detailing a 60" transmission water main line valve installation at the S.K. Keller Regional Water Treatment Facility. The project involves installing a valve where the main meets Tampa Bay Water's 60" supply transmission main from the east and a 42" water transmission main to the west. The project is being requested through an Invitation to Bid (ITB) and was initiated by Curtis Goss, with the work planned to be executed across fiscal years 2025 and 2026.

The project is budgeted through the Capital Improvement Program's Water Renewal & Replacement Fund, with total projected costs of $2,500,000 spread across FY25 ($50,000) and FY26 ($2,450,000). Funds are currently available, with the source being Water Funds. The financial overview indicates sufficient funding in the FY25-30 Capital Improvement Plan, though the department will need to request a budget increase of at least $442,000 for the FY26-31 CIP. Year-to-date expenditures are $14,805.19, with encumbrances of $63,545.81, and the project's estimated activities include design, construction, construction engineering inspection (CEI), and site development costs.
