About this file
This Bid Form (Addendum No. 2) is submitted to the Town of Telluride for the Colorado Avenue Handicap Ramp Improvements project. The project involves comprehensive infrastructure improvements across five schedules: Pine Street, Spruce Street (Mid-Block Crossing), Willow Street, Alder Street, and an add alternate at W Pacific Avenue & Aspen Street. The work includes removing and replacing approximately 750 square yards of concrete, 1,300 linear feet of curb and gutter, and 160 tons of hot mix asphalt. Specific tasks encompass ADA-compliant curb ramp and sidewalk construction, removal and replacement of nine town-supplied lamp posts, installation of heat coils, and electrical and plumbing work. The project involves multiple intersections and trades, with work spanning concrete, asphalt, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
The bid form provides detailed quantity schedules for each location, breaking down tasks into categories such as removals/site preparation, pavement, concrete work, lighting, and miscellaneous items. Bidders are required to provide unit prices for each line item, with the understanding that final payment will be based on actual quantities. The project includes mobilization, erosion control, site restoration, construction surveying, and traffic control. Bidders must submit a bid security, a statement of qualifications, and a subcontractor schedule. The bid remains valid for 30 days after opening, and the successful bidder will be expected to complete the work within the timeframes specified in the contract documents, with provisions for liquidated damages in case of delays.
