Deep Dive

Use the Deep Dive skill to turn one resolved GovTribe target into a source-backed capture briefing.

Use Deep Dive when you have one important target and need a clear briefing before the team decides what to do next. The target can be an opportunity, award, IDV, vehicle, vendor, agency, forecast, grant, contact, state, jurisdiction, or state/local record. The important part is that GovTribe AI has one resolved subject to investigate.

Deep Dive is best for questions such as:

  • What is this target, and why does it matter?
  • What evidence does GovTribe have about the buyer, incumbent, timing, vehicle, files, and related records?
  • What should capture, BD, proposal, pricing, or leadership do next?
  • What is confirmed, what is inferred, and what still needs research?

The output should feel like a source-backed capture briefing, not a raw data dump. Ask for a short executive takeaway, the most important evidence, the likely business-development implications, recommended next actions, and unresolved questions. GovTribe AI should keep source-backed facts separate from assumptions so the team can decide whether the target deserves pursuit, monitoring, research, teaming, or proposal work.

Example output sections can include:

  • Why this target matters: A concise explanation of the business context.
  • What GovTribe evidence shows: Buyer, lifecycle, file, award, vendor, and relationship signals that support the read.
  • Capture implications: Why the target may be attractive, risky, urgent, or not yet actionable.
  • Recommended next actions: Concrete steps for BD, capture, pricing, proposal, or account owners.
  • Open questions: Gaps the team should resolve before making a decision.

Example prompt:

Use the Deep Dive skill to create a consultant-style dossier for this opportunity: https://govtribe.com/opportunity/federal-contract-opportunity/j059-rfq-new-building-automation-system-sustainment-maintenance-repair-and-lifecycle-po-jeremiah-middleton-far-part-12-36c26026q0629

Explain why the target matters, what GovTribe evidence supports the read, the likely capture implications, recommended next actions, and unresolved questions. Keep confirmed source facts separate from assumptions, and make the answer useful for a BD or capture lead deciding whether to pursue, monitor, team, or research further.
